Waldorf Astoria Hotel
The Waldorf Astoria Hotel, located 20 miles or less from each of the three
major International airports (LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark), was built in the
1930’s in east mid-town Manhattan, fills a whole block, and is a city staple
that has played host to US presidents and celebrities.
The Waldorf Astoria Hotel has regular rooms and suites, which include many
attractive amenities; such as high ceilings, marble tubs, crystal lamps,
triple sheeting, fax machines, mini-bars, cable TV, and foyers (in select
suites). Other hotel highlights include a 3,000 sq. ft. fitness center,
massage therapy, personal trainers, multi-lingual concierge services, the
largest Manhattan ballroom, 36 meeting facilities, numerous boutiques, and a
bridal shop.
Inside of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel are three different restaurants to
choose from, Bull & Bear, Oscar’s Brasserie, and Inagiku. Each restaurant
has different item selections so that guests may mix it up a little;
especially great for those who intend on a long stay, but don’t want to
leave the hotel to eat. Also located inside the Waldorf Astoria Hotel is a
cocktail terrace where guests can enjoy evening cocktails while chatting
with friends, business associates, or strangers.
The Waldorf Astoria Hotel is within short distance of many of the city’s
famous attractions; including Fifth Avenue for great shopping, Rockefeller
Center, Broadway, and Bloomingdale’s. Many of these attractions, such as
Fifth Avenue, are within walking distance for most guests. Within only a few
miles and a short taxi cab ride of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, you can find
the rest of New York City’s amazing attractions.
Complete with superb amenities, the Waldorf Astoria Hotel is an
accommodating place to stay in the city. The hotel’s location also makes it
great for those who want to explore the city’s spectacular tourist
attractions without having to go too fare from the hotel.
