Waldorf Towers
The Waldorf Towers, located in mid-town, “towers” 42 stories above the city
streets of Park Avenue and was the first hotel skyscraper in the city. The
Towers are on top of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel and shares many of the same
benefits, but has its own private lobby entrance.
The Waldorf Towers has regular rooms and suites, which include many
attractive amenities; such as high ceilings, marble tubs, crystal lamps,
triple sheeting, fax machines, mini-bars, cable TV, and foyers (in select
suites). Other hotel highlights include a 3,000 sq. ft. fitness center,
massage therapy, personal trainers, multi-lingual concierge services, the
largest Manhattan ballroom, 36 meeting facilities, numerous boutiques, and a
bridal shop.
Inside of the Waldorf Astoria / Waldorf Towers are three different
restaurants to choose from, Bull & Bear, Oscar’s American Brasserie, and
Inagiku. Each restaurant has different item selections so that guests may
mix it up a little; especially great for those who intend on a long stay,
but don’t want to leave the hotel to eat. Also located inside is a cocktail
terrace where guests can enjoy evening cocktails while chatting with
friends, business associates, or strangers.
The Waldorf Towers are within short distance of many of the city’s famous
attractions; including Fifth Avenue for great shopping, Grand Central
Station, the Empire State Building, Times Square, Rockefeller Center,
Broadway, and Bloomingdale’s. Many of these attractions, such as Fifth
Avenue, are within walking distance for most guests. Within only a few miles
and a short taxi cab ride of the Waldorf Towers, you can find the rest of
New York City’s amazing attractions.
The Waldorf Towers are an accommodating place to stay in the city. The
hotel’s location also makes it great for those who want to explore the
city’s spectacular tourist attractions without having to get lost.
